Hailing from The Windy City, Mark got his start as a child actor at The Lyric Opera of Chicago, where his father worked as a singer and performer. Years later, he attended Northern Illinois University on a music scholarship and graduated with a degree in percussion performance.

As a drummer, Mark has toured extensively with Rock legends Dave Mason and Three Dog Night all over the world including Russia, Japan, Mexico, Micronesia, the Caribbean, Canada, and America.



Mark has also recorded on hundreds of sessions and backed up countless acts along the way. Highlights include performances at Radio City Music Hall, 1992 Russian Freedom Tour, 1996 Democratic National Convention Orchestra, and The Park Tower Blues Festival in Tokyo.
