Dave considers himself fortunate to have been in the right place at the right time...several times! First, (and foremost) to have been a teenager in the late 60's. The Beatles, the Stones, and the entire British Invasion became the inspiration to live a life of performing music.

After playing steadily in the thriving Chicago club scene throughout the 70's and 80's, Dave became friends with Bill Kurtis, Chicago's legendary CBS newsman and documentarian. In the late 80's Dave became Bill's audio director, music composer and field audio sound man...positions he would proudly hold for 20 years. As a soundman he traveled the world over, from the Amazon to the Serengeti to cover environmental and conservation concerns, among many others. Throughout his career with Kurtis Productions, Dave has created all the themes and scores for PBS' The New Explorers and A&E's Cold Case Files among many others. His music can still be heard in the award winning and long running hit series "American Greed" on CNBC.

In the mid 2000’s Dave returned to performing, primarily focusing on the incredible outdoor summer festival scene here in Chicago and the suburbs. That lead to the formation of Generation in 2010, a nine piece with horns that continues to deliver 60’s and 70’s rock and soul to a festival near you! Three decades of hits from Beatles to David Bowie…Sly and the Family Stone to Tom Petty.

In 2018 Dave signed on with Paul Revere’s Raiders, and fronted the band with shows across the country and an amazing Alaskan tour. The band’s farewell performance was in St. Charles IL at the famed Arcada! A wonderful ride!

A singer just loves to sing…and that includes old school classic country covers. Dave also plays acoustic and sings lead for the New Heartaches. This band also features two female lead vocalists as well, and harmony is a driving force for this tight and dynamic band.

And now…this!!  The Show Must Go On

I was a teenager with my own band in high school, when “One” from Three Dog Night began climbing the charts. I was instantly hooked on the vocals and the especially the harmonies. As a fan for life…what a thrill to now have the opportunity to perform these incredible hits that helped shape and direct my lead singing journey.

Be seeing you at a “Show Must Go On” show soon. Please come up and say hello!!
